On April 21, a beautiful ceremony took place in our parish: students of the Polish School of John Paul II of Montville joined the sacrament of confirmation.
At 17:00 the solemn entrance procession began with the Eucharist, presided over by Fr. Bishop Witold Mroziewski. After welcoming the bishop, the priest administrator asked his Excellency to grant the sacrament of confirmation to the gathered young people. During the homily, Fr. the bishop encouraged a firm and strong faith in the power of God's action in the sacrament of confirmation. He asked the youth to bravely testify to their faith every day and to approach the sacrament with faith in their hearts, emphasizing that open acceptance of God's Spirit depends on each of them. After the homily, the bishop, together with the concelebrating priests, extending their hands over the young people, said a prayer for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the candidates, followed by the proper rite of the sacrament: the bishop anointed the foreheads of girls and boys with holy oil. After Holy Communion, the director of the Polish School thanked the bishop, catechists and parents. After the Eucharist, commemorative photos were taken.
